Privacy Policy
Effective May 20, 2026
1. Who we are
WeSpeakForYou.com (“WeSpeakForYou,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a survivor-first claimant intake platform owned and operated by MarketingForLawFirms.com (“MFLF”). We help people who have been harmed connect with plaintiff law firms that may be able to represent them. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Intake conversations are handled by a third-party, trauma-informed intake partner staffed with mental health professionals. MFLF and WeSpeakForYou do not employ mental health professionals and do not retrieve medical records.
2. Not a law firm; not legal advice
WeSpeakForYou is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Submitting an intake form, speaking with an intake specialist, or otherwise contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a signed written retainer with a licensed law firm.
3. Information we collect
- Contact information you provide: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or state.
- Eligibility-screening responses: answers about the alleged harm, timeline, jurisdiction, and other questions necessary to determine whether a law firm may be able to help. Some of this information may be considered sensitive personal information under state privacy laws.
- Documents you choose to upload: government-issued ID, signed retainer, and other claimant-supplied eligibility documents. We do not request, receive, or retrieve HIPAA-covered medical records.
- Communications: call recordings, SMS, chat transcripts, and emails, where permitted by law and disclosed at the point of collection.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected through cookies, server logs, and similar technologies.
4. TCPA & messaging consent
When you submit your phone number through a WeSpeakForYou form, you agree that WeSpeakForYou, our intake partner, and/or a retained law firm may contact you at that number, including by automated dialing technology, prerecorded message, and SMS, for the purpose of evaluating your potential claim.
Consent is not a condition of any legal services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. You may also withdraw consent at any time by emailing partners@marketingforlawfirms.com.
5. How we use your information
- To screen and qualify your potential claim;
- To connect you with a plaintiff law firm that may be able to represent you;
- To send you status updates about your intake and any referral;
- To operate, secure, and improve our intake and document-collection workflows;
- To comply with TCPA, state bar advertising rules, and other legal obligations;
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security issues.
6. How we share your information
- Plaintiff law firms evaluating or retained on the relevant litigation, who receive your contact information, eligibility responses, and any documents you upload;
- Our third-party intake partner, for trauma-informed intake and qualification;
- Service providers that support hosting, analytics, calling/SMS, e-signature, document storage, and quality assurance, under written confidentiality and data protection obligations;
- Legal and safety: where required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and understand how visitors find us. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
8. Data retention
We retain intake information for as long as needed to evaluate, refer, and (where applicable) support a retained representation, and thereafter for the period required by applicable statutes of limitations and recordkeeping obligations. After that, information is securely deleted or de-identified.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit, audit logging, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and the EU/UK), you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you;
- Access or receive a copy of that information;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your information (subject to legal and retainer exceptions);
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Services;
- Opt out of certain processing;
- Appeal a denial of any of these rights.
To exercise any right, email partners@marketingforlawfirms.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity as required by law. You may also authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf.
11. Children
WeSpeakForYou is intended for adults (18+). If a claim involves a minor, a parent or legal guardian must submit the intake on the minor’s behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
